¿Pretérito o imperfecto?

Also, one unrelated but really cool note is that I noticed on this graphic I spelled pretérito in English both as preterite and preterit. I though to myself oh poo. gotta go back and edit it. But then, I thought which one is actually right? preterit or preterite?

Turns out, everyone, that preterite with an e is standard/common English, and preterit with no e is American English.

So I’m not changing it. Enjoy the different English dialect spellings!
